How do I change my state of residency from Alabama to Connecticut?

Do I just have to change my plates and license?|||actually to change your residency to CT you have to live in the state for one year,i think.just to get plates it can be your home of domicial and need a valid address.|||No! You actually have to move there too.|||I guess you would have to move to Connecticut, and then go through the proper channels to get everything changed over. Like the License bureau %26amp; etc.
