How do you change state of residency without losing FAFSA money from your original state?

I want to make the state where I attend school my permanent residence.....how will that affect my student aid from FAFSA?|||The Fafsa application is a federal application, meaning the federal aid you recieve (Pell grants, Work Study, and student and Parent loans) are good at any school in the US who is eligible to recieve federal funds. Some folks get addtional State grants from the state they are residents of. If you attend an out of state college, you will not be eligible for a state grant. Also, it is very difficult to %26quot;change%26quot; your original state of residence. (Simply living in the state to attend college won%26#039;t cut it). So be prepaired to not get any state grants if you already get them and be prepaired to pay out of state tuition at your out-of-state school for your entire college career there.
